Here are a few snapshots of the little things that made me happy this week. I’m so grateful for the camera on my iPhone that makes capturing these everyday moments so easy. They really do make for great memories! We’re having a quiet weekend around our house. It’s been rainy and cold (booooo!) and has made for the kind of weekend that involves, eating breakfast at the diner across the street from our house both yesterday morning and this morning, shopping at Walmart and taking a cab home because it felt too chilly to walk to the subway, watching long movies and sipping warm drinks, like too much coffee (if there is such a thing;) and herbal tea. Thank goodness for warm socks and cozy blankets. The flannel sheets have officially gone back on the bed! My fingers and toes are crossed tight in hopes that spring returns for my sister’s last couple of days in Montreal. She leaves on Wednesday and I miss her already! She sure is fun to have around.
